2 of the BEST TV SHOWS I'VE EVER SEEN

So just last night I finished watching the final episode of Angel.
It took me about 7 or 8 months to get through all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and all 5 seasons of Angel. And wow, what a journey it was.
Joss Whedon made two of the greatest tv shows ever.
Some of you may have seen one or two episodes here or there and decided you didn't like it... But that just can't do it justice. You have to watch the whole shabang to really get the full experience. I'm so glad I took the time to watch them all, and I'm so sad that its over.
This is easily some of the best tv ever on tv. If you get a chance, watch them... starting with Buffy, and you will not be dispointed by the end. So watch them all... 144 episodes of Buffy, and 110 episodes of Angel.

BRIAN REGAN

I think I've decided that this is my favorite comedian. I like him because he's really funny without relying on typical things like racial jokes. I saw him a few years ago in dallas. If you ever get a chance to see him live I highly recommend it. Here's some youtube.
Enjoy...

HALF MOON BAY

my mom's still here... today we took a trip out to half moon bay... mark behm lives there... and I can see why... it is a gorgeous spot

I love the beach... no really I do... its one of my favorite thingies

there's a neat little touristy town area that we thoroughly explored

people climbing slowly down to the beach

fake cats... some say they are better than real cats... especially when piled together in baskets

holy antiques... they are everywhere at half moon bay

the pacific ocean is everywhere at half moon bay too

people like to ride large mammals at half moon bay

the intense waves of half moon bay... I was so close to breaking out the surf board and showing off my moves... I didn't want to have to sign autographs afterwards though... so I played it cool instead

someone stole my shoes... again

mom enjoying the view

children flee from great white sharks

mom's waiting for me to get bored with the water and climb back up

MORE ANTIQUES... NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

metal dinosaurs... made of pure metal

mom enjoying the quiet

my mom's visiting

my mom is visiting this weekend... all the way from pennsylvania... which is practically on the other side of the world
we went into san francisco... and I made her walk alot
I also made her pretend to be a simpson

we walked around through china... or chinatown as they call it

we explored burlingame... where they were having a little town fair... it was nice and quaint

this little scene from burlingame reminded me of the outdoor cafes from paris... except without french people... and without grey poupon

we went to pier 39... there's alcatraz in the background... if you really squint you can see escaped prisoners trying to swim to san francisco

these sea lions at pier 39 were having an argument

here's more sea lions slumbering at pier 39

the craziest thing happened... at a sushi restaurant in chinatown... I ran into this girl nicole, who's from australia, who I met in hawaii a few years ago... she just happened to be in the same restaurant... INSANITY... we both took pictures so we could prove that it really happened

also the restaurant had these cool little floaty boat things that carried your sushi to you... BRILLIANT!!!

here's a pic of the entrance to pier 39

more pier 39

a lovely picture of coit tower and the pointy building

forgot my camera

this weekend i went up to seattle to visit friends.... and i forgot my camera... but I will blog about it anyway...

i took the day off on friday and went into valve where my old dna friends, andrew, karen, matthew and hamish work... they let me playtest TEAM FORTRESS... which turned out to be an awesome game... I desperately want to play it more but it doesn't come out until october... boo!!!
on saturday we went river rafting... which was way more fun then I expected... sitting on a raft floating for 5 hours with a beer in one hand and sunblock spf 45 in the other was great...
...an important thing I learned from this trip is to never again fly with United... they have been nothing but trouble the last two times I flew with them... delays abound... and bad service... I remember a time when airports used to be mildly enjoyable experiences

in clebration of this great trip I decided to do a few caricatures of some of the friends I got to see...

thanks kristie and andrew for letting me stay at your gigantic new house

VERY EXCITING GEEK NEWS... rumor really

I found this on some blog devoted to blizzard news...

A Diablo Movie
June 22nd, 2007, posted by FofR

Blizzard is hot right now, what with Starcraft 2 on its way and WoW continuing to dominate. Now we are hearing rumors of a Diablo adaptation for the big screen. These rumors came about when “Diablo” was spotted in the “In Development” section of Legendary Pictures‘ website. This notice has since been removed and Blizzard have been characteristically silent on the whole matter. Coming from an official source this is hard to classify as merely rumor, though lack of an official press statement and the notice’s removal does warrant this labelling.

Nobody really knows what’s going on at the moment - except that the Warcraft Motion Picture is still in development.

We’ll keep you tuned should any developments arise.
