Superbowl Party

Our buddy Stephen had a superbowl party at his place this weekend.
Here's some pictures of us watching the bears lose.

Notice no one here looks very happy.

If you could see patrick's face though you'd see that he is happy...

although extremely confused.

here's scott explaining the meaning of life again

after the game we had ourselves an intense battle of Taboo...

I am REALLY REALLY good at this game...

you can tell from the look of respect on my teammates' faces.

this was close to the part where I geuss yet another CORRECT answer...you can practically see the intelligence pouring off me

as I said, the competition was intense... maybe a little too intense

CAVEMEN DRAWINGS

Here's some cavemen drawings I did for drawer geeks. Hopefully they don't suck too much.

me and my crazy dad

that's the st patrick cathedral ceiling behind my face... the cathedral looked so nice with all the christmas decorations, which uh... you can't see in this photo... also, i have no idea who that guy with the glasses is

more cathedral without my face...they were doing a christmas service in latin... i don't speak latin so that made it particularly hard to follow along

my dad, listening to jazz on an ipod jukebox that he is very proud of owning

UGLY SWEATER PARTY

My friend's nick and kevin had a big pixar sweater party at their place. It was a good time, even though my awesome grandma sweater didn't get nominated for best ugly sweater. Its good to have goals for the future though.

halloween at pixar

For Halloween, I finally took my rightful place as the bestest superhero ever, mr cyclops, leader of the xmen. Here is cyclops angry about his animation not looking so hot.

Here is cyclops thinking it might not be a good idea to blast a hole through the expensive 30 inch monitor. casual cyclops

this is the way cyclops would stand if he was going to blast a hole through wolverine

some people from the subs project dressed as prisoners... i think this was some sort of metaphor for something... don't ask about patrick... that made us all a little scared

pictures from the disney trip

pixar took us to disneyland so we could see the ride we're working on. and then we got to run around and have fun at the park for two days. I tried my best to ride everything, but alas, it was impossible. Here's some pictures of our adventures. Oh, and starting next friday I'm being moved to Ratatoille, to work on the feature. Yay.

Death Drawings for drawergeeks.com

here's some new drawings for drawer geeks. This weeks topic was Death. Click on the images to see a larger version.

I did some Harry Potter drawings for drawergeeks.com

Sarah picked the topic this week. I'll have to thank her with cookies or puppies or something.

this past weekend we visited our friends mark behm and rani namaani who work at PDI Dreamworks in San Mateo... RED ROBIN pictures... YUMMY

We had a little DNA reunion down in Redwood City. Me, scott, rani, mark behm, patrick, amila, young jae, pj, and bert, all met down there. We had lunch at RED ROBIN, one of my favorite places ever. There isn't one near where I live, so it was especially nice to enjoy some red robin boca burger yumminess with my friends. We also ate at a great italian place for dinner, that young jae used to go to as a baby child. thanks for the pictures young jae. Oh, and we went go carting, but I sucked at it. I sucked bad. But PJ and Patrick were pros... they almost beat the daily record. We got to see some of PDI Dreamworks as well. Which is a very pretty studio. There's a really cool salt mine right next to it, and a nice view of the bay.

Viking Drawing

Here's a new drawing I did for Drawer Geeks of vikings trying to kill each other. There are 2 nasty tangents in this drawing, but I draw with pen, and there's no erasing. Vikings are almost like pirates, and talk like a pirate day was a few days ago. The end.

I DID A NEW ANIMATION

Here's a short little animation I did in my spare time. Nothing fancy. Just felt like animating some human things with arms, since I've been animating fish for the past 3 months. Here's the link if you want to check it out.

The Slayers

I'm currently on a "watch entire shows on dvd" kick. I recently finished watching the first four seasons of Monk, which is awesome. I've always been a big fan of Tony Shalhoub, whose name I'm sure I spelled wrong. Now I'm watching The Slayers. A really fun anime TV series. There's 3 box sets, and they're really great. I started watching it way back in college when Michelle was my downstairs neighbor and she let me borrow them. But she didn't have the whole series so I never got to finish it. So, now that I make money, I thought, I should buy these and watch them all. And they are so awesome. If you like anime, you should give this show a look. Not the movies though. The movies aren't good. Just the tv series. I think that's the case for most of these anime shows. I could be wrong. Anyway, they're really really fun and silly and serious and there's cool drawings, if you like anime, and neat storylines, and great great characters. Okay that's all. Oh, here's a video of the intro to the second box set. It has a catchy japanese theme song.

My soldier drawing

Here's my soldier drawing for drawer geeks. I'm trying to learn how to color in photoshop and not have it look crappy. Any advice or critique would be awesome.

I SHAVED MY ITCHY BEARD OFF

that is all... oh and tonight I'm having a video game and pizza night at my apartment. Just like old times. We'll see how it goes. Maybe I will post pictures. Or maybe I won't. Woo hoo, video game night!!!!! Oh and that vincent valentine game, dirge of cerberus is fun. I never beat games, but that game I beat. And you can't beat that review.
